WHY FREEMASONRY
On leaving the Forces, I was looking to join an organisation with a similar sense of comradeship, made up of ‘good men who did good for others’. I found it in Freemasonry.
Freemasonry brings together like minded men from all walks of life, backgrounds, religions and race.
It is a society whose approach to life is based on integrity, tolerance, kindness, honesty and fairness.

Ask a Mason what it means to be a member and you will discover a varied response as it means different things to each of those who join.
For some it’s about making new friends and acquaintances.
For others it’s about being able to help deserving causes – making a contribution to family and in the community.
And for all Freemasons, it is an enjoyable, fun and fulfilling activity.
